Well snake, I'm not a battlefield expert, but I guess you should do the same, update punkpuster manually, and if that doesn't work, just try uninstalling, deleting the leftover folders, rebooting, defragging and then installing again and defrag again.
The reason for so many defrags is that you want to have your game files as close to eachother as possible for faster access, therefore reducing the amount of lag you could possibly get in a game.

updated PB redid again about 5min ago - no B... Change - rFactor is looking better every minute - at least I can talk sense to my Pit crew -a wonderful group of ladies they are too
