ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead
if u thought ARMA2 was graphically impressive the expansion is even better!
My 8800GTS plays it ok... although i have turned of shadows and turned down antialiasing to get a lil better performance over quality.
A couple of stand of additions is the addition of laser pointers. Not just and Aim point, when you turn on night vision you get a laser show from your whole squad. you can see who is aiming at who. There are going to be some awesome Missions created using this i think. Another is the use of the FLIR camera scopes (thermal imagery). The work a bit like an aimbot hack well not really, you switch it on day or night and the lil white blobs in the distance are people or vehicles (running). Dont be fooled into shooting rabbits in the distance u think are snipers laying in hiding though.
Heaps of new vehicles,,, even some that look like our aussie made BushRangers, UAV control from attack choppers.
For those that remember Aussie life, well this expansion has a new version in Takistani town although still having a few bugs it fun enough for what it is.
AS i discover new missions i will try and post them here for those that have the expansion to keep an eye out for them.
If enough ADF members that have this expansion and donate also maybe we can try and get our own server up and running.
After all we are the ADF!!!!!!!!!!

HOORAHHH !!!!!
OA has SCUD's
As TISM has mentioned, graphical OA is running better and smoother for me (ATI 4850) than Arma2 did.
TISM I've also picked up a heap of small coop mission to play with:
SCUD Hunt Co-08
- Bravo Two Zero style play
- revive Norris
- team leader establish mobile respawn
Attack The Outpost Co-04
- Night, attack a outpost of the Takistan Army.
- Play as Insurgents
- 2 task (kill officer, Destroy HQ BMP)
Night Assault Co-10
- eliminate Colonel Aziz and personal vehicle
- no NVG only flashlights
Operation Dusk Raid Co-08
- Sweep and clear town plus destroy SCUD
- support UAV Reaper Drone
------------------------NEWS FLASH------------------------------
DEMO is coming out (3gb in size)
Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead's demo includes:
* Singleplayer mission "Coltan Blues" from the main campaign
* Singleplayer scenarios "Benchmark" and "Little Bird"

Great game, the way Arma2 should have been released.

ok guys and update,,,,,,,,,
Our server has had some maps uploaded to it. Be aware some of them dont work yet as the server is only set up to run Operation Arrowhead only. So if a mission requires ARMA2 as well it wont run.... yet.
Some of the COOPs on there can be done alone but other will require a team working together.
MY PICK THIS WEEK---Shahi Tandar
You will need at least 3 ppl working together. A Sniper giving overwatch, a Grunt clearing buildings and also a IED Expert to complete the obj. Also if you die that's it, you will have to leave and come back, as long as someone else is still in there the mission will keep going,,, unless u all die at once then u start again. TIP- beware of bots in 1st floor windows!!!!
I am yet to complete this mission.
