Windows 7 is now in BETA testing
This will be the replacement for Vista.
Early reports indicate this is what Vista should have been when it was released.

Rumour has it - it may be released mid to late 2010.

To try it for yourself follow the link below.

Windows 7 beta download

64bit - 3.3GB file
32bit - 2.5GB file

The files are in ISO format, you will need software to extract it to DVD or hard drive for installation.
You can use this Img Burn if you have nothing else to do the job. (1.9MB

The release date may be later this year.

The beta license key only lasts till August 2009.

MS Website says "After that time you must remove W7 or buy a retail version to keep using it"
