Well... It seems i can't update to AA 2.8.2... Dunno why... It goes to "Configuring Windows Installer" and then crashes...

So i guess.. this is the end of my AA Life.. Ah well.. There's still others..

But since most all servers have now upgraded.. I cant play AA anymore.. No servers for Snakey Pwnage time..

Oh well.

how does it crash.....whats the error....

mine took forever to wotk i thought iwas gona crash also, they used a crap intaller, such a huge patch rediculous.

No error... I start the patch, it goes to "Configuring Windows Installer"

and then freezes.. Just freezes.. Nothing more... I cant get it to patch! [smilie=furax[1].gif] [smilie=furax[1].gif] [smilie=furax[1].gif]

Mine hung like that too - I was like WTF crashed and after like 5 mins it went to the updater screen and voilia!!!
But the first patch loader window on mine - my notebook actually half greyed out and when you moved the window around the screen it kinda showed where I dragged it around....

Then it worked....

Mine took a while to get going as well.

But don't forget it is a 900mb file the installer is trying to prepare.

when its freezing its actually checking the windows installer to see if it has permission....this can take quite a while....just let it sit and go do something constructive....like build sandcastles or something....

Same prob with me but dousnt crash.
I get Error 1670 i think.Tried 4 times then away she went.No probs now

Turns out my C:\ drive is too full to patch...

So i need clean some [s]porn[/s] junk outta it... AA will be on hold till i can clean the C:\ drive... Or at least i hope.. [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif] [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif]

Buy an extra drive and just have that for games.
It will also clear some space on your other drive.

I run 2 x 250GB 1 for games and 1 for work.

160GB drive about $100 bucks or less.

I do know that your brother cage has it. He was playin it last night. Just copy his AA folder over to yours....
