AA with vista

Post by ADF-Baby »

I'm having a spot of trouble joining aa. every time i try to join a server it either bsod's on me with a reverence to nvddlmk.sys or it just exits out to windows saying armyops.exe has encountered an error and needs to close. or if it alows me to join a server as soon as it loads the screen and my weapon is brought up to load it my screen freezes up untill the round ends or i die. if i die first then i see a flash and then my screen freezes again untill the round does end. this happened on interdiction but while i was on bridge i had no problems after i figured out the protected name problem.

i've got dual 7300gtx cards running sli. windows vista 64. and have tried running in compatability mode for xpsp2 and admin rights but it wont even let me see the title screen.

its no doubt a driver issue....have you got the latest drivers for the cards?

Has it ever worked properly or has it just started playing up?

there is also beta drivers you can try that might fix the problem

AA works fine with my version of Vista (Vista Business - 32 Bit)

Some of you might remember that I kept getting kicked off for having a wrong operating system or something like that.

I fixed that by setting compatibility mode to win xp sp2, and turning on admin rights.

Don't get kicked off now, and everything seems to work on it.

You could also reformat and create a small partition on your hard disk (I'd say around 10-20 GB) just for AA and windows XP :P but it's up to you matey :D
