Hey Snipe Bungy's doesn't appear to have any chips in the rotors - does this mean he's a better pilot than you????? [smilie=laugh[2].gif] [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

Looks like you have the hovering under control :)
That's half the battle.

here is the thread on QAM that followed my build of the first one.
http://www.qldaeromodeler.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=36

I also changed the landing gear to a new type - takes the heavy landings better.
Here it is next to stock under carriage.

Side View fitted

Front view fitted (the canopy is custom airbrushed - only 2 that I know of in Aust) I especially like the RAAF decals :)

This is to give you an idea how big it is :)

I also have a smaller heli, but I don't fly it now.

and this is what $1200.00 gets you battery wise for it [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif]

Have a read through the arcHELI forums
http://www.archeli.com.au/forums/cmps_index.php

lot's of married guys, who have many, many helis and their wives don't seem to mind - at least that is what they say :)
The general response seems to be that if you buy some heli gear, let her buy - a pair of shoes or [insert what she likes to buy]
seems to work for most.

Here are a couple sayings from sigs on arcHELI :)
"If you're not crashing, you're not flying hard enough"
"So whats a few new parts between friends... Just part of the upgrade plan."
"As I tell the wife - it's $3000 once a year for a new heli
or $150 a night every Friday & Saturday at the Pub/Club, it's your choice - she let's me have my Heli's
:)

I'm not married, so it makes it easier for me :)

"If you're not crashing, you're not flying hard enough"
So true. I have learned very quick ;) I fly into the clouds a fair bit untill I almost loose site of it. I'm trying to get a 17 gram camera attached to it :D
