Broad Band deals????????

Ok guys running ARMA seems to chew up more DLs than the old AA. 2 laptops in the house are also stealing my interwebs so its time for an upgrade.

Ive used Telstra in the past and had no probs and currently have Optus 15G. I very rarely drop out (once or twice a year). I also have a static IP, not exactly sure how that happened but im not gunna complain.
Basically i want more Data and dont mind bundling my home phone to it (optus). But i also want reliability so DoDo and the likes are out. I'm also in Adel so Optus Cable is out

I've been on the compare broadband site and ...........
Whats the diff between 20,000kbps and ADSL2+??
Any suggestions? Who to use? Who to stay away from?
Know of any packages that slipped thru the pricing gap? (i got 20g for price of 5 a couple of years ago)

M8 Steve lives in SA and he uses http://www.adam.com.au/ pretty good he says and there SA based.
