2.6 or 2.7

ok fellas wot do u prefer 2.6 or 2.7
i have noticed alot of people have had problems with 2.7 and cannot connect or have so many faults, i know theres a few members that want to switch back and personal i mite just do it tomorrow. so please post your thoughts cozz it works for me fine but im for the interests of ADF.
ill leave the choice up to u people

personnally i rekcon 2.6 was better, less bugs [ive experienced a few on 2.7] and i didnt lag as much on 2.6 as wen i was on 2.7 smorning

ok well i havent played 2.7 yet cause i havent finished downloading it ive still got 14 - 15 hours left of downloading

hey mickey it took me 26hrs 2 download so far im very dissapointed with 2.7 the only thing i like is the new mini map it is so detailed u really dont need 2 report but i love 2.6 better what eva 1 every1 chooses im happy just that i was wondering if some1 lives near the goldcoast if they could put it on a cd man even if ya an hour away i will go 2 get it but only if u's decide 2 go back 2 2.6. can some1 help with my sig still no pic  [smilie=halm[1].gif] on

i find it a bit laggy but i like the new graphics every thing looks nicer to me probally why there is a bit of lag, I dont play much so I dont care what we do but they will patch it one day

let's go back to 2.6,they have stuffed the game with 2.7,so my vote is to go back to 2.6,untill they fix the crap up.....

i will just stick with 2.7 it only lags for me on the new maps and iam to lazy to download 2.6 again then download 2,7 again later

I dont mind it but its seems a waste to spend all that time downloading it then having to go back to 2.6,  plus wont we be at a disadvantage over other teams/clans we might battle against.    

I will go with what ever is decided because I save everything onto disk and what ever is best for the team  [smilie=beerchug[1].gif]

my pc is too poor and poop that it dosnt have a dvd burner only way to do it is to split the file using filepslitter or something than burn it onto 4 disks. But i just download and delete lol

Right. Here's my 2 Bob's (Who's your daddy) worth.

2.7 can go back under the rock it crawled out of. Buggy, misleading, poor performance, laggy, runs at 100% CPU, no better graphics than 2.6, maps that are so big they appear to have been designed by someone who's leash had broken and had made a mad run to the extermeties of his roaming block, and honestly, are the new maps that good? Driving vehicles with no resemblance to a real one apart from the squeeking noise makes no difference to me at all. Frankly - I don't like it at all.

PS. If anyone wants 2.7 or 2.6 on DVD let me know 'cause I aint bothered if people want it sent to them, just send me your addy and I'll burn a few and, finally, if anyone hasn't got a mic/headset ffs let me know that 2 - I'm sick of reading about people who don't have one - 2 a month - 1st in best dressed. Consider them a gift - just give me some peace (I'm grouchy today)

I'm going back to 2.6 ... i like the new maps but i lag like poop on them. and i cant enjoy the new graphics because the lag is even wose with the graphics on! I'll be missing those new maps though.

u can have both versons at the same time, just install 2.7 first then install 2.6, that way we can all still play together, does that clear things up for people??
we're not telling people wot they can play and wot not to play, its just most of ADF r having major problems with 2.7, its either downloading the huge file/problems istalling/problems joining the servers due to packet loss/mass lag on servers/starting up the game time/loading map time/ and also graphic lag on the new maps/and bad sound(cant hear alot of things)

With all the issues being posted in the AA forums and here, I think it would be wise to stay with 2.6 on our server for a bit longer. At least until they (the Devs) resolve some of the bigger issues.

yeah i found that there are to many bugs with 2.7 lets stick with 2.6 for the time being ive got both installs on DVD so when i need to swap to 2.7 i wont need to wait days to download it all over again

well i've downloaded 2.7 but havent instaled it yet A)cos the server is still on 2.6 and B) cos i'm gonahave to do a format reinstal next week anyway (new mobo and gfx card) so i'm happy to stay with 2.6. i havent played 2.7 yet so i wont miss it.

Baby zip up you AA 2.6 then uninstall 2.6 Install 2.7 and Extract your 2.6 in a folder called "America's Army 2.6" Then you have both
