heads up on a spam threat

gday guys, just a heads up - we've had 2 instances over the last couple of days of a new member to our forums attempt to add a link in their 'hello' which has lead the reader to outside sites. these sites have in turn attempted to auto install both virus and trojan .exe's on to whoever attempts to view the site. both attacks have been discovered within mins and have been purged from the forum as well as having the ip banned from setting up new acc's. this is likely to be a passing fancy from a programmed spam bot but i do recommend that you guys be vigilant for any spam posts that try to stear the user away form your site.

Our security's too good for bots and anything else for that matter.

The forums security may be but the site attacks users who go to the site.

For a bot it will need to go through 3 levels of security before it can post in our forum or site. But ill be aware of anything like that.
