My Friend had a Dodge Dart 1969 swinger
Slant V6
He put in a 1972 Cadillac 500 engine... Boy oh Boy would it go.. Possi rear end and California hill suspension ... Speed shifter ... special exhaust ... but no nitro at that time....
He was not trained to fix up machines, but he just loved working with cars... A real grease monkey ....
He was like 135 lbs dripping wet..
He picked me up from the airport, one time. I didnt know he just finished the new engine, and the bugger lifted the front end off the ground....
Just about wet myself..aha-ha
I always liked to help out around the Garage... But i was never to do one for myself... Though he help fix up my 1972 toyota corona ... ahahah
GOOD LUCK WITH IT M88Y
WISH I HAD THE TIME FOR DOING ONE MYSELF

Thanks guys , I am leaning towards the original burgendy
color , Ive just got to convince the misses ..
I,m not doing the panel or paint work as I don,t have the
time , I,m paying a recommended car restorer to do that
for me .. I will do all the interior , motor and mechanical work
and every thing else but the panel work , but it will take a few
years ... I,ll keep you all informed and update this forum as
the car moves forward towards the finished product...
cheers Rub
