SLAP COREY
And such is the power of the media.
Talk to any policemen/women that you know about the 'Corey' incident.
First of all, Corey didn't post the party on his MySpace website, someone else did without Corey's knowledge/consent.
The 'core' group of Corey's friends were infact, very well behaved and didn't cause trouble at all.
Everything that was broken and damaged was by people who were from another party in Hallam that got shut down by the police and decided to gatecrash.
When the police arrived, they asked Corey to gather his friends and go inside, whilst they dealt with the Gatecrashers.
The whole problem with this incident is that the Media spun the story to make Corey out to be the 'bad guy' because they, infact, had no idea what really happened. The only thing I will agree on, is Corey did not help himself out in the way he handled himself in the media.

I've been to and organized a few 'Blue Lights', if done properly in conjunction with the police (Which most are nowadays since 'Blue Light Disco' was started by the police), there's no alcohol involved and anyone that brings any is quickly and quietly escorted from the premises by police in street clothes or event organizers/staff.
And yeah, Corey did become a media fad, but half the reasons that made him such a 'fad' were lies, told by the media to make him out as a rebel and problem teenager.
