well its been awhile since i have been able to get on. but i am having issues trying to get 2.8.2 working i tried a patch and i have tried to download the full installer but i cant find somewere to download i from with out having to sign up or pay. can anyone help me out so i can get back in a play.... i miss my aa

) and it's just a good site to catch up on gaming news in general

yeah i am ok man been eally busy ih stuff need to do alot of catching up with some peple and sort some bussiness out but hopefully i will be around alot more man

ok welll now i have got the downloads all done and all my updates are done. but now its not ltting me pla it is saying failer to communicate due to pnkstra.exe. anyone know how to fix it? please say you do

do a manual update of punkbuster.

There have been a few updates to PB recently, and they will take a few minutes.

also, what OS are you using? XP or Vista

i am running vista and i have done all my manual updates. it has told me there are no more updates at all.

you need to right click on the aao.exe file->properties->compatability-> tick run as administrator. also search for pnkbstra.exe and pnkbstrb.exe and do the same.

thanks baby but i have oneproblem i cant find any of those files hhhhmmmm. and thats got to such cheech sorry to hear that mate. hope ya get it soon

I'm running vista and haven't done that baby... just turn off UAC (User Account Control) and it will never ever ask you for permission again (find it in the security center)

Also those punkbuster things are services not applications
