Soldier of Fortune II

I bought SOF2 the other day ($9.95 NEW) and I received it in the mail today.

Yes it is old, but I just needed to add it to my collection of FPS's

Anyone else play or have played it?

I see it has a multiplayer option.

Will be giving it a run tonight - single player campaign.

I have installed the patch to ver 1.03.

Also I should be getting Half Life 2 - Episode 1 ($29.95 NEW) in the next few days.

Any thoughts on that as well.

i have SOF platinum edition and i have played SOF:II and its alright.

I have both and have been told thta 2 is good multiplayer.

SOF2 carries on from the original, There is some referance to SOF1 in it, and i do recommend playing sof1 before sof2, just because thats the way i play my games, It was acaully the first game to use Ghoul - Which is a damage engine, u shoot em in the foot and it does little damage, head is a kill...

Story line isnt bad and its got some cool guns - IOWS FTW!

Listen when i helo pilot speaks... he says something about Hawk.. he was a black guy in SoF1 who is ur partner... like all movies/games the black dude dies first...

Yeah Capt, my secret is now out for all to see.

Dodgey, I only paid $9.95 plus postage for it anyway...would cost me an extra $15 in fuel to go to my nearest EB games store if I wanted to get it from them

haven't had a lot of luck buying from EB online.
