Well for as long as i can remember now i have had a problem with my net dropping out at random. Then 3 weeks ago it dropped out and didnt come back on. Massive dramas and pains in my ass with so called procedure with my isp and telstra so i cracked it. I had been told there was no problem with the exchange mind you it took 2 weeks to just get that info so i took it upon my self to look my self. got in the roof couldnt see any problems. But all the phone lines in the house ran into a grey box so i cracked it open and it was a splitter box ( one line branches to many ) couldnt see anything wrong so i left it. got back down and went to make a call but i had no dial tone. At this point i lost it and cracked the biggest na na my mum would have been proud. So i climbed back up there ripped all the lines outta that box marryed all the lines together with a bitta electrical tape and presto my phone works and my net is stronger and faster than ever.
SO i'll always be right when i say if you want it done right do it your self!!
