I'll probably find out the answer in a few days (capped right now so i can't download sh*t) but i was wondering from all the posts i've read recently about AA3..

I'm curious boys... I have STEAM etc... But I just wanted to know, In your own opinions, so far, is the game worth all this hassle i read about? I understand it's still new and servers are being flooded by people but still, graphics and perfomance wise.. Really.. Good or "I'd wait a bit"?

My prob has been I dont get any aussie servers only us ones and when i do get in i drop out after a min or 2.that said i havnt done my training so that is prob the prob appart from that there are a few glitches or freezes that last a few seconds occasionally.graphics seem ok.getting use to the interface ie which buttons to hit will take some getting used to. this game seems to have been rushed but over time i think they will work things out.

i found its ok but really hard to get used to it at the start, ive got it running but it keeps on crashing on me also what about the tags? whats going to go on there, i cannot fit the full .-=(ADF-#####)=-. in

You can't fit your tags on? That's a worry.. Maybe they shortened the allowed character name?

Muzz: Arn't there any Aussie serves? I mean i assumed other clans like FDG or AIF might have one server runnin' on AA3..

Yeah they have shortened the allowed characters from 19 to 15.
it tell you when you create a new soldier.

Same as COD4, that was why we had to mod our tags for those who play COD4

so what tag do we use? coz im just called ChooB atm lol

If your account is "Choob" for example:
Then it can be upto 19 characters.

if you create a new soldier within that account
Then it can only be a max 15 characters.

i am saying that I cant see any aussie servers.its like it says 96 servers downloading at say 32% and then only about 12 show up.I have double checked the filters but there is no filter for location I can see.

my challenge is I've used snipers down load off our forums but I've used the second (smallest ) update but it looks like I might have to down load the first one 'cause I cannot complete the training it has not saved and now just locks up when I try to access the training.

Actually I Have .-=(ADF-Dizz)=-. as well cause it fits even though its 16 characters maybe I better check but I'm using the ADF-Dizz one at the moment - - whe the bloody thing runs

but any sub accounts can only have 15 characters.

For example:
My main account (the one I login to) is .-=(ADF-Bungy)=-.
I have a sub account (new soldier) Bungy63

Oh i see, so .-=(ADF-Snake)=-. should be fine then? I bloody well hope so eheh

If you signed up your account as .-=(ADF-XXXXXXX)=-. That's what your Primary will be, anything after that, is a max of 15 chars.

shame those server isnt honor, i rather play on honor servers!! im gettin not bad ping on some servers have to shoot just abit infront of the person xD

this game has alot of potential, when the bug/glitches is fixed, it'll be fun as

Alright boys, update on the situation.. I've actually managed to download AA3 and so far i failed the first training mission about 3 times so far.. (the one where you learn to move like a soldier) and i've hit a snag...

I sifted through my E-mails and found i reserved .-=(ADF-Snake)=-. Tags and all, but it won't let me login with the password they said i had to use to 'activate' my account...

Any ideas? I've tried to do my basic marksmanship but the game froze on me whilst loading..

I have the same issue, I pre registered .-=(ADF-McMann)=-. and McMann just to be safe.
But I can't log in with the ADF one just wont let me in and won't email me my password or anything so I guess I am McMann again. Mind you I'm not impressed so far at all.
Why they had to take a great interface and change everything is beyond me, sure it's a new game but AA has a solid following and I think they will lose some of us on this new version.
I for one can't be assed with it, think I'll stick with what I know and love till updates and patches come online for 3.

Having said that, I will complete my training, but I am stuck on the medic training. HELP how do you heal simon once he needs reviving I have tried 8 times and nothing works?????

The JAV server will be honor as of today. - so they told those who were playing last night.

So all good on that front.

Just need to get our AA3 honor server going and it will be even better

dont do any training, they said that they've unlocked all so u can enjoy the weps online even without training, their doing this becoz too many ppl doing training and their auth cant handle it, and this is their short term fix, to unlock weps for all and let everyone play, so yea dont do trainings atm and just play ^^

Create a new account via the website, rather than in game.

I reserved Bungy but have been unable to access it using password supplied in email without getting login errors.

So, I went to website and created a new account for Bungy, account created no problems (name was still available ) have yet to try it in game.

Will try this afternoon.

I folded and downloaded AAc using the big downlod client but does anyone know if there is a way to start the game without loading the big client? I tried launching from the AA3game.exe in the directory but imediately gives a crit.

That goes double for me

I have been playin for a few days. I find it great except for:-

1. Spawning without a gun
2. Spawning with a gun and with ammo but wont fire
Both of these seem to happen if I try to start running just before the round starts
3. The server list refresh is ghey - just got to keep refreshing until some Aussie servers show. And if you have them in your favourites, they don't refresh and if you join and they are full it kicks you back to your login screen

But just for the new maps and the new looks on the old maps (haven't played bridge yet) is worth it imo

I posted this another thread, but it is relavent here as well.

Currently, AA3 is running good for me.
Only the odd gun glitch, but nothing worth really getting upset about.

I get around 50-60fps when in game.

I have some lag, but no more than when I play on AA2 servers.

TS3, is working well, in the servers I have been in with it enabled....good to be able to chat to team mates
Especially when you have used your Advanced First Aid Kit and can't revive them, you can let them know so they don't think you are not trying to heal them. Lets you call someone else in who still has their pack to revive them and lets you get on with providing cover if needed.

There are now around a dozen AUST/NZ servers a couple have PB enabled, but most don't at the moment - some issue with PB & updates I believe - nothing new there

training has been turned back on with the latest patch, so if you haven't done your training, now you can give it a go and have it count.

There is obviously nothing wrong with the game

It has been out for 3 weeks and these guys are 40+ honor already.

There is plenty wrong with the game. Just you have to work through the many bugs.

Well iam now in game and all is running sweet used the bigdownload deploy client downloaded & installed
but launch the game the 1st time through the deplay client to install directx and punkbuster then ya can
go to ya AA3 dir send direct exe to desktop then just use deploy client to grab updates. But all in all iam
happy iam getting around 60-80fps in game & get a little lag as Bungy said but no more than in AA2..

Well I am surprised but happy to report my AA3 is now working with the last patch 3.4

Graphics good, able to see Hud now and gameplay is good.

I still stink at it but at least I'm playing it now, the bummer is that it is working the day before I go to Bali
