Unfriendly script on your server

Hey guys

Like the web site - not visited before.

Just been playing canyon ( first time) and typed in admin (lowercase) then remembered seeing you wanted it in uppercse followed by message so typed in ADMIN please change me and major over (to evn the sides a bit) and got a WHOPPING 60 min ban

Seems a bit strong - there was no abuse in anything I did. It doesnt make your server very friendly. I think scripts that catch proper spam or verbal abuse are a good idea but this seems a little OTT.

In no way am I telling you how to run your server - just suggesting you (if you can) tweak the script to bit a bit more lenient.

After all - I was just about to kick ass in the game when I got kicked (SIF

Just dont type ADMIN in uppercase

The ADMIN command is for reporting server errors etc, or requests of an urgent nature that can't wait for a post and reply in the forums.

The RECRUIT command - initial contact for those who want to apply to join ADFTeam.

For things like - change team requests, that would be done through console chat with an admin who is online and in game.
