Protected name???????

Well Gday Fellas..
As some of you guys might know I have joined the SRS clan..
Now my problem is that when I try to log onto your server, I keep getting booted for a protected name??

I have posted in the SRS forums and Thrandir replyed that he tought that you guys have to do something with your server scripts to allow me to join..
I know that Church has the same problem too...
And we both like playing on your server......

Any Help on this matter would be great....

Not shure m8 think its your end u need to reg ya tags i would say hit up one or the sRs admins.

Hi kickacow,

I take it SRS admins have registered the clan tag.
If so, they will have to give you the details they registered the tag with.
They will need to provide the tag exactly as registered, the password and whether it was a full or partial registration (tags are a partial registration)

Once you have that you need to do the following:

1. enter a server with PB enabled and open console "~"
2. enter the following command:
pb_regnamefull “Player Name” "password"
pb_regnamepartial “TAG” “password”

so in your case you would enter:
pb_regnamepartial “-s]R[s-“ “password”

Explanation
Tag = Tag/Player Name registered with PB
password = password used at time of registration
Full/Partial = Partial used for Tag reg, Full used for player name reg.
I have registered .-=(ADF-Bungy)=-. and Sniper has registered our Tag ".-=(" so I have a Full and Partial entries in my regname.dat file in PB folder.

Once this is done, a message will appear in console informing you the task is complete.
To check, go to the pb folder in AA and a new entry will be there “regname.dat” file

When you open it (with notepad) you will see the reg details

After that, you should be OK to join any server.

We had a number of our members have this problem when we changed the tag details in the registration. Once they changed it, all was good.

I made a avatar but I can't seem to upload it to be able to use it in your forums???

It tells me that there is a error if I take the [img] tags off the end of the link.
And If I leave the tags on it says that it has to be a gif file (which it is)..
I am confussed (which isn't too hard) but I managed to get the signature to work?
Is there a limit to the file size that a avatar can be????? (as I link a few boobs together).
The file size is 586kb....

Any Ideas

file size is too large.

my avatar is 79k.

Here are the avatar criteria:

Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time.
The dimensions of the image are restricted to a maximum of 100 pixels wide, and 100 pixels high.
Uploaded avatars have a file size limit of 98 KB, and must be less than or equal to the maximum dimensions.
Remotely hosted avatars will be automatically scaled to fit these dimensions.
