Epson Stylus SX600FW multifunction printer

This maybe what you need

[img]http://www.photographyblog.com/images/p ... 00fw_1.jpg[/img]

Unfortunately, not yet available in Aust.

Read about it here---> Epson Stylus SX600FW Tour
or here----> Photoblog Review

The SX600FW comes packed with pretty much all the connectivity options one might require from such a product, starting with USB 2.0 and ending with the built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless module. Moreover, like most other products of this type, the SX600FW is PictBridge compliant, which means that it can be used for printing photos from digital cameras directly.

At GBP 150 not bad price.

what do you print on sandpaper??

I have never had to replace a print head on any of my printers.
I just replace ink cartridges and that's it.

I have never been a big fan of HP.
too many problems years ago getting their printers to work on my PC.
So I gave them the flick and changed brands.

Changed to Canon & Epson - no probs since.

Yeah - I'd go the HP for reliability, but Epson has the better photo print quality.... IMO

I ended up going with the HP Deskjet F4280, I put it on a wireless D-Link DIR-655 gigabyte router.

Does everything I need.

I can replace the head by changing the cartridge and refill it with my drums of ink. :D

So If you need a good wireless solution with replaceable heads.

Here is my shopping list.

1. Printer
http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-hp-deskjet ... 13173.html

2. Wireless
http://www.shopbot.com.au/default.asp?k ... ion=search

3. INK
http://stores.ebay.com.au/cartridgedirect2000

For all around $350
And big savings in the long run.

Sorry,
Can't bring myself to buy a HP [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif]

Too many bad memories.

Canon or Epson

For me cartridges are approx $20 each so not a big individual expense.
I go through about 1 off each (CMYK & Lge Blk) each month.
So I guess $100 a month on cartridges.

I went down the after market cartridge path about 2 years ago [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif]
had the cartridge run out but it didn't register on the printer so it kept printing the document to the end.

It was the BLK cart that ran out during a 70page document.
The last 30 odd pages were pretty pics with no text - NO HAPPY JAN [smilie=furax[1].gif]

Swore I would never go anything but genuine again.
