Here is their website ------> http://killernic.com/default.aspx

They also make a model to reduce server lag ----> http://killernic.com/technology/futuretech.aspx

Your modem doesn't need to support anything, the computer needs the drivers for the modem not the network card.

This is a network card, just plug in ya bits and go.

Read the blurb on the site, sounds pretty good and has been given some awards.

Pretty cool heatsink on it :)

It would be useful in a LAN environment.
Evolution is just so unlikely to produce complex life forms.

i think what cap is trying to say is the 1000mbps is only good if the modem supports it ( which none of us have 1000Mbps connections anyway :) )...which is really here nor there....but i think thats what he's trying to say....

but considering you can get a good network card for $30 IMO it would have to be 10 times better...But i cant see that happening......

or maybe we shouldn't even needs this item..maybe telstra should pull there finger out....ive seen people from america connect to our server at 45 ping there is no way i could get 40... ping on an american server :(

But a lot of us have gigabit routers in our networks at work and home. I know I do.

The fact we don't have a connection of that speed is not really an issue, all it means is it is able to handle any speed connection we have or may have in the future.

I am tempted to buy one and test it out.

I like the download and play at same time with no system lag...only your connection speed would be a problem...but if it gives priority to gaming data via the interrupts then it means the download will take a bit longer.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am of track. :)

a lot of router will do QoS...i would be trying that before anything else.I wouldn't waste my money on that.......You can give priority to AA and set levels for anything else....

and in this case you would use it via tcp i would imagine and give priority to ports 1716 1816 1916

One thing you must remember is your only optimizing the connection from your pc to your exchange....which isn't going to help that much....how did they test these products in a company environment...from a home ?
