Hi Nick..good luck with ya app.

Don't worry about stecom or the others they are just jealous that you have chosen the gentlemans service (RAAF) to join......hahahaha

For those who don't know
NAVY....senior service (Pussers)
RAAF....gentlemans service (Blue Orchids)
ARMY....I cant remember sorry.(Mangoes)

That should stir up some comment...hahahaha [smilie=laugh[2].gif]  [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

This is one thing all the other current or ex army members will agree with.  The Navy and Raaf are good for something   transporting the army to where they want to go, the military version of a taxi service [smilie=laugh[2].gif]  [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

The RAAF is more than happy to drop the Army where ever it needs to go  Dodgey...we are also the first they call when they want to come home again...after their camp outs in the bush.... [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

Bollard..I thought the are are called pongos for another reason??? Maybe dodgey can help out... [smilie=jpshakehead.sml[1].gif]

Going to War in the ADF....

The Navy Officers fight with the troops. (They are both on the ship after all)

The Army Officers send the troops to fight. [smilie=smiley_abus[1].gif]

The RAAF sends its Officers to fight, while the troops stay behind and wait to patch up the broken planes they bring back.
[smilie=evillol.sml[1].gif]

Also, wherever the RAAF goes you need all the creature comforts like Air Con, Hot/Cold Running water, nice sleeping arrangements, good messing facilities.. (can't have the aircrew sitting in the heat all day, or not being able to have their hot showers and stewards to tuck them in at night)...I am ex RAAF for those interested...but not aircrew....just as bad...I was a Photographer.   [smilie=laugh[2].gif]  [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

I agree Bungy

Post by nickorette247 »

I agree with you there Bungy, RAAF certainly are the best. I myself am aiming at going to ADFA(Australian Defence Force Academy) and eventually becoming an F-18 pilot, and we dont transport the army, just save their ass when they need it [smilie=laugh[2].gif]

ps, i cant play AA for the next week or so as ive got exams i need to study for, dammit.

Good luck with getting accepted by ADFA.

By the time you graduate the 18's will be ready to be mothballed and the new F22 will be coming into service.  [smilie=flicks.gif]

I was at Tindal from 90-93, got a few hours up in 18's....the sports car of the RAAF  [smilie=laugh[2].gif] Great fun.
