don't be disheartened cappy. i've seen some monster 3dmark scores coming off this 88's. they have masses of leg room if you have a go at overclocking it. a pair of those in sli will beat a stock 260gtx.

not rude at all m8. i built it for a friend... gave him a good deal on it. i just can't blab about the size of another fellas pockets. the whole rig came with a 22" monitor, g15 and 2.1 sound. some ball parks are - $400 ish for the cpu, $400+ for the graphics card. needless to say he did go to town ...

wow this is a tuffie... have you tried enlarging your page file? control pannel>system>advanced>performance settings - make sure that in memory usage is set to the programs icon not system cashe and enlarge your virtual memory. i'm using xp pro with 4x1G sticks and have my virtual memory set to 4990...

not knowing if you've fixed this problem but i'd suggest starting with:

1 re-seating the ram
2 installing the latest nvidia driver (not asus, gygabite etc.)
3 running a ccleaner registry fix errors
